Storage and subscription
Storage is one shared pool per organisation, not per dataroom. You see the usage under Office administration → Subscription and usage.
How the pool works
Section titled “How the pool works”- Every member of the office contributes storage; the pool is the total.
- All datarooms of the office share that pool. A large dataroom can therefore take up space that another dataroom needs.
- The counter shows how much is used, how much is reserved for current uploads and exports, and how much is still free.
When storage is almost full
Section titled “When storage is almost full”At a high occupancy you get a warning. If the pool really fills up, uploading is paused: new files are refused until there is space. Viewing, downloading and exporting keep working — so you can always still get to what is there.
You can make space by:
- Archiving old datarooms and letting the retention period expire;
- Replacing large files with a smaller, compressed version (as a new version, so that the old one only disappears after destruction);
- Expanding the subscription.
Subscription types
Section titled “Subscription types”The product application shows per subscription what you get; the server calculates the amounts with the established price list. The types as they appear in the application:
| Type | Core |
|---|---|
| Flex | Per matter, one-off, with a fixed term and storage per active matter |
| Basis | Per member per year, in tiers that become cheaper as you have more members, with a minimum amount of storage |
| Pro | The same member tiers, plus SSO and integrations |
| Enterprise | Member tiers plus the Enterprise package: SCIM, BYOK, SLA and extra storage |
Guests are free and unlimited: you pay for members and storage, not per invitee.
What you can and cannot do yourself
Section titled “What you can and cannot do yourself”- See — usage, reservations, members and the next invoicing.
- Change — changing your subscription goes through your contact person. The button in the application prepares a change request; it does not invoice by itself.
